Frey Family History

Hela Frey was a friend of Liza Hendel's cousin Max Seifert. She was also friends with Sława. Her father was taken away and exterminated during one of the great roundups. Mrs. Rozenberg was terribly panicked and would not let Hela leave the house, so Sława decided to hide them.

After the war, Sława often visited the Freys, who married and settled in Germany. They had one son George called Jurek. Bertold was a wealthy dentist. They spent vacations together in Mallorca, among other places.

Hela's mother in Gliwice committed suicide in 1967 and is buried there.
