Mirnyj Dom the headquarters of the Refugee Student Support Office

The Humanosh Foundation has launched an office whose main task will be to match the needs of refugee students with specific university offers in Poland. This was possible thanks to the involvement of the CRASP (Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland), which expressed its willingness to accept political refugees residing in our country as students. We want to help those wishing to start/continue their studies at Polish universities, academics, but also those seeking Polish language courses. The initiative is starting thanks to financial support from the Henryk Wujec Civic Fund.

Working together with the foundation's team will be Ms. Nilofar Ayoubi - an Afghan who arrived in Poland in August with a group of evacuees from Kabul. Nilofar is fluent in Daria, Pashto and English. Katarzyna Skopiec, head of the foundation, who already has significant experience in helping refugees and students themselves, will be responsible for contacts with universities. In the initial phase, the office will mainly help people from Afghanistan and Belarus, with plans to expand to other nations and tasks over time.
