Motio Egert, Fela Strasser’s brother, initially hid in a neighboring cellar; he dug a passage connecting the two hideouts, leading the groups to discover each other’s presence. After the liberation of Drohobycz, he enlisted in the Red Army and was killed in action. His sister Fela was in hiding with her son Lonio, who was about six years old at the time. After the war, Lonio moved to Israel, adopted the name Arieh Nativ, and had four children with his wife, Zafra.

Testimony Theatre
In 2020, Arie Nativ participated in a project known as Testimony Theater, which focuses on the stories of survivors and their relatives; they share their experiences with school students aged 13 to 15, and the organizers create a theatrical performance based on these accounts, which is then staged by the students.
Gil Nativ played the role of Arie in this production.
