Humanosh USA will conduct most of its activities based on art. Jennifer, who heads the subsidiary, is a painter, has been passionate about art for many years and has many contacts in the American art world. She has found that many artists want to get involved in charitable initiatives, but often don't know to whom to give this help and how. Many of them would also like to donate something they hold most precious, namely some of their talent.
It is from this need that the idea of creating art kits for children was born. The kit consists of a white T-shirt with an outline of a drawing designed by the artist. It comes with paints and a letter with instructions from the artist. The instructions encourage children to tell their own story with color and convince them that each of them is capable of creating their own work of art.
The first artist whose work has been used on the T-shirts is Catherine Czudej. Originally from South Africa, the artist lives in New York by day, where she paints and creates sculptures from everyday objects. So far, 250 creative kits have been made, but more artists have already declared their participation in the project, including Syncrodogs, Anthony Miler, Jason Losh.
The first batch of T-shirts went with the humanitarian transport to Kharkov. The children there decided to expand the idea even further to help more people. When a wounded soldier arrives at the hospital, his clothes are most often cut so that he can be helped as quickly as possible. The war and the shortage of basic supplies also means that there is a shortage of clothes for people in hospitals. The children decided, after decorating T-shirts, to donate them to hospitals.
More T-shirts will reach the young artists around Christmas. In the near future, Humanosh USA also plans to produce T-shirts with drawings made by Ukrainian children and sell them in the US and online. In this way, the Foundation will gain funds to produce new sets that will bring joy and hope to more children.
